The company owns a research center with a postdoctoral program, and is a “Zhejiang Made” award (a province-accredited brand reputation) winner. 

A subsidiary to Zhongda Yuantong Industrial, Zhongda Yuantong Special Cable manufactures and develops wires and cables for special uses. 

The Zhongda-sponsored project for smart cable manufacturing was on the A-list of the provincial government. Founded in Qianyuan (New Material Park) of Deqing County, the company occupies a land of some 100 acres. It owns newly-built workshops covering a floor space of some 150 acres, including a cable workshop of 18 acres to draw and strand wires, apply insulating sheaths, finalize cables and survey the cable quality. With imported Southwire’s solutions to copper processing (strand casting and connection) and Niehoff’s machines for drawing, stranding, extruding and finalizing wires, the company is able to manufacture every year one million kilometers of special cables used in professions like fireproof, robotic works, intelligent mining, tunnel boring etc.

Zhejiang Wuchan Zhongda-Xijiao Cable Research Co. Ltd in Qianyuan focuses on the research of advanced cable materials, new fire-resistant cables and solutions with far-reaching impact, including industrial policies, business models and structural reform. The Research will boost the core research and application in manufacturing cables, and meanwhile help find and use new cable materials as well. We expect more breakthroughs in materials and core manufacturing technologies could be made through the collaboration with Xi'an Jiaotong University on the research of cable structure, material combination and processing, and convert their findings into real products and more shares in the market.

Yuantong (Shanghai) Industries was founded on Jul. 17, 2017 with registered capital up to 10 million RMB yuan. The company is licensed to transact metals, mechanical devices and systems, woods, building materials, iron ores, chemical materials and products, hardware, wires and cables, and household necessities. Now it focuses on the spot transaction of nonferrous metals like copper, aluminum, lead, zinc and nickel.
